Day 3

Hump day’s come and gone and another productive day’s been had for Field Theory. Andy showed up first to record keys and laid down some awesome organ tracks through a Leslie Speaker and made me wish that we had one of our own. Then I re-thought it and was glad we dont have one because I’d have to help him lug it around to shows… For those of you who don’t know what a Leslie is, think of that sweet organ sound on Let It Be and then picture the cavernous, underground studio we’re recording in reverberating with an amazing organ tone like that. I kept expecting bats to start flying through… A great start to my day.
Next George came in to do guitar tracks. With the aid of Nick’s General Genius and some special cookies he channelled Iron Maiden and recorded a few tunes, including My City and Captain, turning them from good rock songs into tunes that absolutely shred.
I can’t wait to hear what’s coming tomorrow…
